Your donation helps in many ways…

The I Read Canadian Fund promotes engagement in reading through:

  • A rock concert of reading: allowing children in rural, Indigenous, and remote communities to experience a local Forest of Reading event, where they can meet and participate in workshops with their favorite Canadian authors.
  • The journey of books: transportation and logistical costs associated with getting new and current books by Canadian authors into the hands of young readers across Canada.
  • Cultivating a love of reading: Cover the cost of Forest of Reading program registration.

Donors receive recognition on our website and donations over $20.00 receive a charitable tax receipt. All donations are directed into the Fund.
